Ulus Fizyoterapi, located in Istanbul’s Ulus district, offers holistic and evidence-based physiotherapy services tailored to the individual, ranging from deep neuromotor control to spinal alignment.
At the heart of our approach lie the biomechanical integrity of the body and the functional balance of the nervous system.
🎯 Our Mission
Our goal is not only to relieve pain, but to understand the neuromotor and biomechanical origin of pain and to restore each person’s body to a state of lasting, functional and pain-free balance.
“Every body is different; therefore every healing process must be individualized and measurable.”
👩⚕️ Our Specialists and Holistic Approach
Physiotherapist Selin Atalay
(Spinal and Craniosacral Integrity Specialist)
She is the founder physiotherapist of Ulus Fizyoterapi. She is an expert in ISST Schroth Therapy, Craniosacral Osteopathy, manual therapy and fascia treatment.
She mainly works with scoliosis, postural disorders, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunctions and craniosacral balance.
Her aim is to increase postural awareness and re-establish the natural alignment of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
“A well-aligned spine and a balanced nervous system are the foundation of a pain-free life.”
Physiotherapist Sefa Göben
(Neuromotor Control and Biomechanical Analysis Specialist)
He specializes in NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT), manual therapy, chiropractic, myofascial release and AI-assisted posture analysis.
He is the founder of the Physio AI project, which uses IMU sensors and 3D motion analysis to obtain objective data throughout the treatment process.
His treatment philosophy combines clinical experience, technology and evidence-based measurement.
“Movement heals when what we feel with our hands is confirmed by what we measure with our devices.”
💎 Our Value Proposition: A Synergistic Treatment Model
At Ulus Fizyoterapi, we combine manual therapy with technology to provide each individual with a measurable, scientific and holistic physiotherapy experience.
- Individualized Approach: Posture, neuromuscular balance and lifestyle habits are analyzed to design a personalized program.
- Evidence and Measurement: Literature-supported protocols and sensor-based data allow objective tracking of progress.
- Technological Reliability: IMU sensors, LiDAR cameras and 3D analysis systems are used to assess movement with millimetric precision.
⚙️ Our Clinical Framework (3-Layer Protocol)
- Deep Neuromotor Control (NKT):
Identifying and retraining dysfunctions of deep stabilizers such as the Longus Colli. - 3D Spinal Correction:
Personalized treatment of scoliosis and kyphosis with ISST Schroth Therapy. - Craniosacral Integrity:
Balancing the nervous system and addressing TMJ and headache-related sources using osteopathic and craniosacral techniques. - Biomechanical Restoration:
Addressing lumbar and cervical disc herniations, joint restrictions and segmental dysfunctions via chiropractic and fascia-focused treatment. - Measurable Follow-Up:
Objectively evaluating the treatment journey using AI-assisted 3D posture analysis.
“We bring together clinical hands-on treatment, evidence-based physiotherapy and artificial intelligence in the same session.”
🔬 Our R&D and Development Work
With the aim of integrating technology with clinical reasoning in physiotherapy, the Physio AI project is being developed within the İTÜ Çekirdek Entrepreneurship Program.
This system provides clients with personalized development reports through sensor- and AI-based analysis, increasing the objectivity and reliability of the treatment process.
“We are redefining physiotherapy with the technology of the future.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions about Ulus Physiotherapy and Osteopathy Clinic, answered from both a clinical and technological perspective:
1️⃣ What makes Ulus Fizyoterapi different from other clinics?
Answer: Our difference is a holistic approach + measurable technology. We combine our clinical expertise in manual therapy, osteopathy and NKT with Physio AI, 3D analysis and IMU sensors. Every session includes both hands-on clinical care and objective measurement.
2️⃣ Which conditions do you most commonly treat?
Answer: We most frequently see lumbar and cervical disc herniations, scoliosis (Schroth), craniosacral and TMJ problems, postural disorders, fascia-related pain, spinal stenosis and sports-related injuries.
3️⃣ What does “AI-assisted analysis” mean in your treatment process?
Answer: With the Physio AI system developed by Physiotherapist Sefa Göben, posture and movement data are recorded using sensors and 3D analysis technology. Progress is thus tracked with fully objective data.
4️⃣ Which methods do you use in scoliosis treatment?
Answer: Under the guidance of Physiotherapist Selin Atalay, we apply ISST Schroth Therapy, which focuses on three-dimensional correction of the spine. Craniosacral osteopathy and fascia techniques are used to support nervous system balance.
5️⃣ How are exercises integrated into treatment?
Answer: Exercises are not planned merely to strengthen muscles, but to retrain neuromotor control. Posture and breathing exercises tailored to each individual are used to optimize neuromuscular coordination.
6️⃣ Do you tell patients in advance how many sessions they will need?
Answer: During the first assessment, posture, muscle balance and neuromotor tests are evaluated. Based on these findings, a personalized session plan is created and measurements are updated every 4–6 sessions.
7️⃣ Will I feel pain or discomfort during the sessions?
Answer: All techniques are applied under the supervision of a physiotherapist and are adapted to tissue tolerance. Manual therapy and osteopathic techniques are safe, controlled and tailored to each person’s pain threshold.
8️⃣ Do you provide home exercises or supportive programs?
Answer: Yes. Each client receives a personalized home exercise program based on their measurements. During follow-up visits, progress is compared with AI-generated reports.
